Open tools for the Church
Free, practical tools and systems designed to help churches of all sizes share the Word clearly and faithfully — without unnecessary cost or complexity.
The Modern Pastor’s Version began as a translation project, but it quickly became clear that many churches face challenges beyond access to Scripture itself.
Small churches and church plants often lack the resources, technical staff, or budgets to adopt modern tools — even when those tools would significantly improve teaching, worship, and outreach.
Open Ministry Projects exist to remove those barriers by providing clear plans, simple systems, and freely available resources that churches can adopt at their own pace.
These projects are in active development and will expand over time.
Open-access Bible resources, study tools, and supporting software built around the Modern Pastor’s Version.
A low-cost, modular camera movement system designed for small churches and church plants.
A low-cost digital signage / kiosk platform for churches and church plants using Raspberry Pi players. Built for stewardship, simplicity, and volunteer usability.
Additional tools and systems will be added as needs are identified and resources become available. Each project will follow the same commitment to openness, simplicity, and ministry-first design.
